Case Histories on the Use of Peracetic Acid

Peracetic acid (PAA) is a powerful oxidant that is receiving much interest in disinfecting wastewater and wet weather flows.  This webcast is a follow up to a WEFTEC 2013 PAA session, and will provide operational and maintenance information from the PAA disinfection system installed in St. Augustine, FL, which has been operating successfully for many years.  In addition, recent information will be provided on the use of PAA at wastewater and wet weather flow facilities.

PAA has a long shelf life, and therefore, can be applied in a number of applications where traditional disinfection approaches might be challenged.  Effective disinfection can be achieved with PAA from both cost and efficiency perspectives.  Data will be presented during the webcast on the effectiveness of this disinfection approach.

There will be 2.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) offered for this webcast. Please check with your state accreditation agency to determine if you qualify.
