The Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Rating System was released in 2012 to provide guidance on sustainable practices in infrastructure planning, design, construction, and long-term O&M as well as provide a rating system for scoring sustainable project achievements. The use of Envision has increased dramatically since its release, with wide use in public water infrastructure. This webcast will provide an overview of the purpose and structure of Envision rating system, also citing modifications in the recent version 3 update. The webcast will also demonstrate how two large municipal water agencies have programmatically adopted Envision, and how it has strengthened their sustainable practices through discussion of case study projects.
