This webinar will define the key requirements of denitrification systems and explain techniques to troubleshoot and optimize denitrification and associated total nitrogen removal systems. The major concepts covered include; determining the nature and amount of organic carbon available, biomass and detention time requirements, control of internal process recycles and the impact of dissolved oxygen in the process. Examples of plant layouts and example simulations will be provided.

Presented by Paul Dombrowski (Woodard & Curran) and Spencer Snowling (Hydromantis)
